Is Analytics data real time?

You can check the data for the current day by changing the date. No it is not real time, but it does update through the day.

Use Mint, or AwStats. Click on 'Update' in Awstats to update the traffic stats. Pretty cool, IMO.

 

You can make it real time if you change the dates. Make it the "to" date to today instead of yesterday.

 

I use 4 different web counters and Google's one is most inaccurate though I'd kepp using it because of the nice statistics it gives ... its readable at least, so my approach is to keep using 4 different counters

google analytics is delayed. they're getting better, but not quite as good as Get Clicky.

 

Well Google Anlytics updates data every 20-30 Mins and you can check updated date every 30 min for same day, you might need to change date in address bar like from

https://www.google.com/analytics/reporting/?reset=X&id=XXXXXX&pdr=20100213-20100329 to https://www.google.com/analytics/reporting/?reset=X&id=XXXXXX&pdr=20100213-20100330 so you can check same date data too.

you could check your time zone and see google analytic last date.

Not real time. Not sure when it updates, but I have seen stats on the same day.

 

Though google analytics data is not real time, it makes a lot of sense to use the service when you are also buying traffic from google adwords because all the conversions are shown at one place.

 

Google Analytics may not be realtime but it is pretty close as I have an app on my iPhone "Analytics pro" and while using it I can see my stats change every 5 minutes or so. Though it seems the analytics website updates every 24 hours and I see no way to change that but the data itself updates pretty frequently.

If you have an iPhone get the app and you'll be able to see changes in close to realtime, there may also be an android alternative to the app.

Yes you are right, it updates latest data around 1 hour delay as I am tracking my visitors specially search engines visitors from Wordpress Plugin and it updates in Google Analytics around 40 to 50 Mins.

When I using mAnalytics on my phone.. it will update faster.
