Do you like or not forum posting only?

You know it is not secrets but general method. I am getting more than 1000 views from discussion from only. Think, if you can get thousand views from discusion forum then why don't love forum? I have read from internet that discussion forum is not good for SERP, I am happy with forum posting so i have decided to stay on forums only. I have use article submission, directories submission, social bookmarking, networking but mostly I get traffics from forums only.

Meaningful forum discussions in your field or industry are good because they can bring relevant traffic to your site if your posts are found useful. I get traffic and some business from the forums. Also, some forums do a better job than this one in terms of giving participants meaningful reputation points, and if your rep is high you may be contacted by other users for your services.

I think what matters is not how many "views" you get, but how many conversion get out of them.

 

I find forum posting to be very good, but i do think you need a mix of acticles and blogs also to get a good veriety of traffic. Everyone is different and each person will have their own farourite ways of getting traffic.

 

for me, posting on forums just for links and posts is a painful task.
but i always love posting here on DP

 

it helps you better if visitors able to post comments in your site.

 

DP is great source for me to learn internet marketing, and when I read useful tips from some members, I often click their signature to know more, and that means traffic for them. Am I right?

yes forums can bring traffics and business.

 

Accept, forum are great place to get lots of visitors to your site. On the other side forums don't have any bad effect on SEO. I currently participate in over three forums and they have been very helpful for my SEO.

Hits from forums won't do any good IMHO, low hits more clicks is more ideal

 

Forums never clicked for me. Most of my traffic comes from google for the keywords i am targeting. But yes forums do send traffic but in my case its less then 10% of the total traffic.

 

I hate doing forum postings because most topics are so irrelevant. You have to participate (actually I think it's forced too), but I do love reading them. People are forced to use forum posting to generate traffic, but well forum posting does help. Though I just don't like it.

 

It is certainly much better than article writing. After all, most of the time I do not need to think of topic and I do not need to write so long. Next to forum discussion, I like blog commenting.

 

I am not clear, here, do you get 1000 views from forum ? is it daily, weekly or monthly ? and exactly which are those forums who get you 1000 views (in combine or individual) ?

Till now DP has been the only forum which has got me more number of views as compared to any other forums. But if you talk about the views or traffic by which we get the end user (customer) then I would give 10% credit to the forums.

 

Forums have worked for me in the past and still are today. Mixing things up a bit and writing articles or even getting involved with social networking is great as well.

 

Forums have sent me some visitors. However, a marketing PLAN includes forums, articles, blogs, SEO for keywords, fresh quality content, directories, social networking...the list goes on and on...it is an essential part of a larger entity.

 

yes i am getting thousand views from forums but it is weekly. My some posts views thousand times but traffics send 20% to my domain. ok this is maths that you know. I make some threads only and don't stay all day night on forums, hmmmm i give some time regular, don't do other work, i think this method (forum posting) is good for me. Some fans said it is not good why?

 

Niche related forums make a sense and traffic towards website but it is time consuming. I just spend 2-3 ours daily.

 

Forum posting is a new thing to me but i will try it out.
