I have been running my business for 3 years now, doing everything from sales to SEO.

Fortunately, all my hard work has paid off, and I'm seeing more customers now. The thing is, I realize that to do it properly, I would have to let go of Website maintenance and SEO work go.

I really am not comfortable searching for an SEO company on Google. I was wondering if you have used SEO services or individuals before, and how was your experience with them. My criteria is just one: value for money. I really don't like to spend too much on SEO.

It seems to use the SEO companies that you need a large budget monthly to get good results, but with one individual who does it for a job you get better results for a better price. I would recommend using an individual instead of a service/company. It is more of a personal connection and you can discuss exactly what you need and easier to get in contact.

PS I work for food :p

Yes your are right but not all companies are like this...Hire a company who has good reputation as well as inquire about their earlier or current clients...and then move ahead....

I think that's what he is trying to do here, he's actually trying to solicit experiences from people and companies who have hired SEO companies or professionals :)

Don't do this too often, but you might want to try out page ranking.

    My advice is try Adword.
First, Optimize your website, do A/B testing and other stuff.
Next, run some campaigns. Read, practice and test the best converting ad for you.
Once it become profitable, just scale as much as you can.
