What is the best approach to increase SERP?

Hey Friends,

I am stuck on #8 on Google for a keyword search. I had done more bookmarks for that site, Still I could not move. Actually, that is very competitive keyword. I had applied the article marketing which only brought me from #55 to #8.

Apart from these, I had used blog comments, forums postings and link exchanges (very few) too.

So, how to move from # 8? Is there anyone had got the same case? To overcome, what did you do?

Make sure you've address as many of the on page factors as you possibly can.
Don't forget to optimize for page load speed.
Build one way backlinks from quality, relevant pages with strong pr and low outbound links.

 

use paid wordpress plugins. it usually gives good results.

 

Sometimes, it sucks to say, but time is all that is needed. I'd try a profile link creation spree for a week or so and see what the results are

 

I agree with you, all you need is time and continue to build quality backlinks for your site getting to the number one spot is not an easy task that can obtain in a short period of time. getting number one is the result of your hardwork and dedication. just give it some time and continue your link building strategy

 

There are lots of factors which can be considered for higher ranking.
1. Meta tags should be properly used
2. Content should be unique and high quality
3. Back-links to your pages but that should be relevant

 

Add quality content regularly to your site, that is relevant to the keyword of your site, that way you can possibly move higher in rankings...

I think it is backlinks and keyword density .

Try to increase your quality backlinks from higher page rank and try to increase the places of your keyword in your website content .
