Submitting your Website to Google never worked for me. Simply post your URL here in the Forum and it will be indexed in matter of hours or days. A week does seem to be long now a days. And to see if its indexed, type the following into google.

    site:yoursite.com

First make sure you have bookmarked your individual article as well as your homepage link in all the bookmarking sites, which are displayed on the add this button. Do not copy and steal the content but write your own and something attractive. Also target on the important and strong keywords of your niche while writing your articles. Thatz it, you are thru.... You site will be ranked within couple of weeks. And as you say, "you can put your link in google search" and will see the results by yourself. :)

Make sure you have many avenues that will have your site crawled by Google bots. Your signature here linking to your site will help, social bookmarking, submitting an article or two to the major article directories, pinging your site after you updated it with contents, submitting your feed, and one of them are bound to get your site indexed within a week.

But u can only make use of them after your site is indexed, u can read the help files at webmaster tools (google webmaster tools) for better indexing tips.

for example: www.bbtips.nl my site only got indexed after i posted it on several forums,

still waiting for: www.berryfris.nl to be indexed

    good luck!

The easiest and fastest way to get indexed is:
digg it ping it!:p Submit your site to digg.com and then ping the url of the submission using pingomatic. You should get indexed in 24H. Good luck!

The best way for google to discover your site quickly is to create a backlink to your site by creating a signature link. DP gets crawled hourly at least and google will soon pick your site up

    No Q. is dull,
You have to Put analytics code provided by Google on your website and it will show all the details of your website on analytics.google.com/yoursite.
details means, your traffic, source of traffic, and many many things, you can also use other online softwares available but they are not reliable.

The Google Sandbox is an alleged filter placed on new websites. The result is that a site does not receive good rankings for its most important keywords and keyword phrases. Even with good content, abundant incoming links and strong Google PageRank, a site is still adversely affected by the Sandbox effect. The Sandbox acts as a de facto probation for sites, possibly to discourage spam sites from rising quickly, getting banned, and repeating the process.

You do know that this Thread is almost 2 months old, just like all the other threads that you give useless answers to. Or are you just trying to build up post-counts?

You should create a sitemap and submit it to "Webmaster Tools" in your Google account. This will make it easier for Google to spider your pages
