    facebook is more effective than twitter as if i give u stats of just Us then be noted that 70% of US people use facebook on their jobs thats y US companies banned social networking sites in their offices,well these site have both benifits and drawbacks

    Facebook has been very helpful for me. Out of my last 3 clients, 2 are from Facebook. Without Facebook I know for a fact they wouldn't have found me or requested my services.

    I think it mainly depends on what type of business you are in. Some social networks work better for certain business structures. In my case the "know, like, trust" issue came into play because of Facebook.

    You must build relationships first, in order to be successful on Facebook and Twitter. You cannot simply throw up a profile page, fill out a few pieces of personal information, then begin marketing and selling to the community. That just won't work. Work on dissecting your friends areas of interest, then simply promote affiliate products to them based around those interests.

    I thinks used face book and twitter is good for promotion well..
    many people used both for business development ...
    for easy to do promotion, you may have followers or friends ...
