Where is the best places to advertise it (other than here)

I advertise my squeeze pages via Articles, Squidoo Lenses, Forums and Q&A Communities. Works fine for me :)

    Hey,
Well, they’re all really the same thing. Unfortunately, because of the strange name, lots of beginning internet marketers don’t understand this very basic part of online success.

I use blogging and article marketing. Although you say new people do not understand this basic part of online success this is the basic knowledge they need to learn to suceed.

PPC if you got the cash. Fast data, quick changes, big lists. Another option - forum marketing.

I've had some luck pushing people to my squeeze pages with twitter.
I have several twitter accounts in various niches and this works well for me.
Has anyone else used this method?

I just started using it for a new site launched yesterday, and have gotten some response already. But it's a site which is designed for viral use, and is the only one of my sites for which Twitter seems appropriate... the others are too specialized in different ways.

Blog->squeeze, but IMO squeezes don't work anymore

Well you could advertise it anywhere online of course, but if you want to keep costs down and make sure your getting the targeted customers you want, then stick to the forums and blogs. It really is the best way to advertise your landing page.

I've been a great fan of PPC so I would definitely suggest adwords, YSM & Microsoft Adcenter.
