Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

I have withdraw the funds on 12 Mar but i haven't got the funds in my bank account yet

 

****NEFT UPDATE*****

Hi Guys,

Whoever is saying the NEFT is not working at all during 15th, 16th and 17th got to be kidding. I initiated a NEFT from my HDFC company account to my AXIS Bank Savings Account yesterday (New Delhi) i.e 16th March 2010 and it got reflected into my Axis Bank account the same day (16th March). I made 2 withdrawals from my PayPal account on the 9th, 2 on the 10th and 2 on the 11th and none of them have been credited to my ICICI account yet. During these 3 days i.e 15th, 16th and 17th there is no bank holiday in Delhi so why have the NEFT's not processed here?? Even if there is a holiday in Mumbai on the 16th from where PayPal supposedly initiates all NEFTs, my 9th and 10th withdrawals should have come through on the 15th (Monday). There is something seriously wrong with PayPal again (I think they have some system bug/technical glitch ever since they incorporated this new PAN fiasco). Problem is there is no update from PayPal (as always). I talked to their customer service and they said they have no knowledge of suspension in withdrawals again which only means they have some system error. I also got information that they are in process of opening a Call Centre in India soon. (if that happens at least we all will have some relief).

LOL,Just guess the situation of Indian Paypal call center guys in such trouble days!

 

I think PayPal is seriously making a mess of their service. whoever, is at the fault, whether, RBI, or Pay pal, PayPal is bound to suffer.

I think we would witness Alert pay taking advantage of the situation and start initiating withdrawal to banks in India.

 

The plight of an Indian freelancer

- Be competitive while bidding as there are fellow bidders ready to do work at throwaway prices
- Pay 10-12% commission to the freelance website
- Put in extra work if the client demands at no extra cost or else he might ruin your feedback
- Pay another 5-10% to payment agencies like Paypal
- New Development!! when the payment agency delays your payment, accept that with a broad smile and try to convince yourself with shit reasons like holidays, routine delays...blah blah blah
- After a month when you do get the peanuts for which you worked hard and waited so long, pay tax on it.
- Get geared up and proceed to step one.

So what are we guys, I think we are treated as nothing more that beggars in the international scenario who don't have a right to choose. As it is is we are ill treated in our own country and now everyone has started to take us for granted.

 

Yet no one is willing to file a case against PP?

 

wonder why Google does not open Checkout in India? They have a solid base here and could do it easily..

 

Guys Did Anyone who requested a Cheque after Feb 15,2010 received the Cheque? pls update

I have requested a cheque on Feb19, it has not yet arrived for me

 

i had requested on 15th and i got it on march 3rd something...

 

Any one got the funds who has done the withdrawal request on 11/3/2010

 

i requested on feb 21 and not received the check. i think pp has sent the checks in due date and the our postal system is screwing us up.

I just checked my withdrawal date and it 10th march ( iwas under impression that i did it on 11th). No credit in my bank yet.

Ok. My withdrawal initiated on 12th March was deposited in my bank account today. But still one from 10th march hasn't been deposited.
