Index and Cache in less than 1 day

I been reading things about some sites not getting index by google. I just want to post this to let everyone know that at the start you really don't need to do anything to get index. My newly bought domain on March 9th 2010 was index on the very same day without me doing anything to it, I did not post a link to anywhere. I simply loaded a temporary WP blog and left it at that for a few days before working a little more configuring etc,..but as far as getting search engines attention I made 0 effort.

Point to this thread is, simply do nothing and just concentrate or building your web site first and SE will do it's part, ignore any sites that offer to submit your site to 1000's of search engines because that is just a gimmick or a scam.

Don't work to hard on getting SE attentions, I really believe that SE are coming to you to read your contents, THEY WILL COME TO YOU, don't go to them, I don't even bother with the Google web master to check what's what, I simply use common sense as far as SEO is concern and has work well on many of my sites.

I find that SE are getting smarter and should be less work to you, all one needs is good contents and link recommendation (good back links), by that notion it could put a lot of this SEO "specialist" out of business if my perception is correct.

 

What I noticed in past that the non-indexing problem depends on webhosts.
I had the issue with dreamhost, hostgator and bluehost. But, when I migrated to GoDaddy, every new site is getting indexed within a day.

 

Totally agree. Simple and the best advice you can give to anyone focussing on quick indexation. I am wondering WHY people what to be indexed within one day after purchasing a domain. As building content, theme and site architecture & installation still needs to be fixed.

@Digitech: All my sites are at Godaddy and Wordpress based but not all were/are indexed by Google in one day, but still interesting fact.

 

Well, if you posted some thing new and extra in the content then it is quite possible that your content will crawl and index because the crawler is working at every moment so that's why the crawler can index any new and unique content, that's why we say that the content is king...
