How do I find my URL in Google Search Engine?

I launched a new site a couple of days ago. Its keyword is very competitive. How do I locate it in the thousands of pages of Google SERs (apart from paging through them all). It would be beneficial to be able to track its progress upwards (hopefully). Is there a way?

Well considering that your site is only a couple days old, it is probably not even indexed yet, so it wouldn't be in Google yet if it is not indexed.

I personally use Market Samurai to see where my site ranks for my keywords, but this is a tool that costs money. I believe there are tools out there for free that will tell you where you rank for your keywords, but they aren't going to be as good as most of the paid ones (especially Market Samurai which is my favorite all around internet marketing tool - it's like 8 tools in 1).

If you want a free tool just do a search on google for "where do I rank for my keywords" or something along those lines.

I use market samurai too to locate all my pages and keywords rankings.

    You could use:
    site:mysite.com

Works for both google and yahoo ...

Another (more tedious way) is to change your Google default to 100 results. Then search your keyword. Use the windows search (cntl f) for you url

I would recommend "rank checker" add-on for Firefox and semrush.com for this purpose. :)

    Have a nice day,
