    As usual the idiots at paypal have been giving different answers at different times for this pan card issue. Not sure when they are going to clear up the mess

    I initiated a withdrawal on 10th, saw the status as completed on the 11th and again initiated another withdrawal. Now both are shown as completed but haven'tt yet received in bank. I had problem with PAN no also. I added my middle name 'A" to my name as business contact person on my paypal account. They added it easily as it was a small change and still my PAN no is not accepted. They say, they are working to resolve it the soonest but haven't given any time frame as usual. Has anyone received money after 10th without entering PAN no?

    I have added PAN successfully n have not received funds yet. Yes I also withdrew on 10th. Has paypal gone for a toss again? or RBI loves playing ping-pong with the balls of Paypal users???

    I had sent the following mail (today) to PayPal:
    Form Message
    customer subject: When I type my PAN number correctly at the time of
    login, I get error message and my name on PAN card is exactly the same
    as in my PayPal account.
    customer message: Additional Information: 'When will this issue be
    resolved? Most of the Indians are facing the same problem. Will it
    affect Bank withdrawals?'

    I got the following reply:

    Dear XXXX,

    Thank you for contacting PayPal.

    I do apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. To register
    the proper PAN number in your PayPal account, we need that you send us
    via Fax a copy of your PAN Card to the fax number 402 537 5731 Atn.
    Global Services, remember this is a fax number in United States, please
    add a fax cover sheet that include your name, email address and a brief
    message requesting a change on your PAN, at this moment we don't have a
    timeframe, but we will inform you by email when the correct number is
    registered on your account.

    This requirement is simply necessary for PayPal to further validate the
    identity of our community and will not affect the access or the daily
    transactions on your PayPal account.

    We hope you understand our situation and thank you for your patience.
    We're available to answer any questions you might have. We appreciate
    your business.

    So it should not affect bank withdrawals but I have initiated 2 withdrawals on 10th and 11th and haven't received money in bank account. Let's wait for another day, let's hope, it works.

    Well if there should be no issue with the daily use of PAYPAL then why the heck we have not recieved our money.. I initiated the withdrawal on 11th and still no money in the bank..
    Some Indian company should look at opening a competitor to PP... as PP really sucks big time... with their sick customer service...everyday.. again and again.. They are not even bothered to post some official News on their blog.. or even mail their suffering customers.. Can't we use RTI to get some info out of these idiots.. as they have a company registered in India.
