Marketing Techniques - What do you find best?

Without saying too much, what is your best marketing technique?

Blog commenting and google adwords is working best for me at the moment.

 

Advertising on online local free classified websites works good for me.

These are the quickest ways and they work well for me too. Long run, social networks will beat most other marketing efforts. This is my best.

 

Just starting with social networks...looks pretty promising. Of course, it will only pay off it your core product is worth considering...

 

For me it's videos. Like I'll make a video that is related to my site, but not an advertisement, more like an information video, and put a banner on the screen for my site.

Focusing on my content. Finding out what people want, and giving them more of it. It's kind of an "inside out" approach that's worked very well for me over the years. Work on the content first, then figure out ways to get people to it. Most people end up advertising for me.

 

My favorite is 'In-Transit Marketing'.
1. You start off with a standard URL such as the one in my signature.
2. You set it up so that its content is shown only for a time-limited period.
3. You can use any BitLy value as the final destination.
Here is an example.
Let's say I want to send someone to this forum.
I get the web address http://forums.digitalpoint.com and transform it into a BitLy
It becomes http://bit.ly/aIL9yP
All I'm interested in is the value, ie, aIL9yP
When you append this value to my signature url, you end up with an 'interstitial advertiser'.
The web visitor I'm sending to the forum will be shown an advertisement whilst in-transit to the forum.
This way, I can use any url to advertise anything, all in-transit.
Extremely powerful stuff.

 

At the moment, my local paper is working great for me. I'm advertising cpa offers with an average roi of 75%.

 

I spend lots of time in finding what works best for me and I finally concluded that Social media marketing is best marketing technique and long lasting.

Email marketing. But never underestimate the power of word of mouth. It can be huge.

 

PPC works good too.
