Google Api for Keyword Positioning Tracking Tool

Discussion in 'Keyword Tracker' started by HiroNakamura, Nov 1, 2009.

I'm interested on using the free Keyword Positioning Tracking Tool (http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/keywords/). But it asks for a google api. Is this the same as the google map api or is it something else?

I know it might be a silly question but can someone point me in the right direction please.

Secondly, when I have registered for this and used this, can i enter a second website for me to track?

    Many Thanks

Where is it asking for the Google API? It shouldn't be.

Hi Shawn. I haven't actually registered for it but somewhere on the page it tells something about google api. I must be wrong then.

Just realised your username is digitalpoint - wow, what a privilege to get an answer from you directly :)

Is it limited to just one website per account? or can I add second/third website once registered to track my keywords...

    Many Thanks

Just go to Google map api and insert the code in the proper application.

Except it doesn't use a Google Map API. It used to use a Google Search API key (when they had such a thing).
