feedback (I offered UAW submission before). But I don't think it is because they don't like my service but because they don't have the
time, don't want to make the effort to leave feedback.

choosen niche and if there are not more sites in this category it will then submit to random

Nobody knows if there is a duplicate content penalty. If a website has a news article for example there are thousands of sites that quote
this article word by word, do you really think Google would consider this something like spam or wouldn't count the backlink? I don't think so.

What does the fast turnaround time relate to, if it is submissions over a 1 month period?

 

not spam but not counting the backlink sounds reasonable. why? well, if the same article is in more than one place dont you think that
google would only count the one source where it appeared first as the one and only source? If I am not wrong only one site with this same article
will be shown in google's results.

I mean that I write and submit the article in 1 to 36 hours max so that you don't have to wait a week before the submission gets even started.
After I submit the article to the system it gets drip fed over a one month period.

It is the same like no-follow tags. When I want to get my site indexed in Google I just submit to digg and we all know they are no-follow. But then why gets my site indexed and why shows the backlink from digg in yahoo siteexplorer when it doesn't count? Even if the link doesn't show up in the serps I still think it counts because a link is a link and Google will find it. But I didn't wrote the Google algorithm so everyone should make their own decision on that.

Depends on what you consider "work done". As I said there is no submission report you can only track the article title or part of the body with google alerts.
If a screenshot of your article with your anchor texted links is ok as proof then I accept this.
