Why can't I get this to work? HTML and CSS

    I am trying to make two sections within my container and i am just using the black to see where they are. I am trying to align the two boxes horizontally on the same line

    What do I need to do in the code to make this work? As of now, the large the one of the left gets, the more the one on the right lowers.

    Hi mate!

    Try to put to the left div the {float:left;} selector. It may work! :)
