I've purchase 3 ebooks, they all have there own unique style and area of expertise. Pot Pie Girl-One Week Marketing - she loves Squiddo Google Sniper with George Brown- a young guy with lots of ideas on targeting micro niche markets Trifilliate Payday- Jani G is sooooo unorganised it isn't worth going there, he is so frustrating.
DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! That's it, right there. Not to say that all e-books that you have to buy are good.
I've probably bought about half a dozen e-books online and I can say that the average that I've spent was prolly under 20 but above 10. The biggest thing that kills me are those people who set up ebook sales as "recurring fees" and then never tell you except in the FINE print that you'll be charged 15 dollars a month for membership to their website which has absolutely CRAP on it anyway... As long as it's a legit point-of-sale, single-time-transaction book, I don't mind spending around 10 bucks because I know that books I could get at Books-A-Million will run me more. Sure they'll be more comprehensive, but a lot of these ebooks boil down the hundreds of pages in a book from a bookstore into 40 pages of .pdf or so. That's manageable for me. Jason
In the past few years I've purchased a grand total of 0 ebooks. Everything can be found/learnt online... through others or through trial and error..
I guess I have been lucky enough to really read about how useless most were before purchasing them. I guess I have purchased really only one ebook that I can think of, that was the SEOBook by Aaron Wall. I actually thought it was a good purchase. Most are absolutely useless though.
Dang, i've been thinking about buying an e-book, but after reading this thread i will go better to google some , thank you guys . Regards
None because they are usually way over $25.00 and while there are a lot of promises of what is in them no one lets us see a few chapters free.
Personally I've bought no more than 12 eBooks, and spent more than $40 on them. Theres always an eBook out there for free for whatever you want...
3, refunded 2. Nothing do with money making though. Those that I bought were useless. Better to go to a bookshop, browse through the books before deciding if you want to buy it or not. There are plenty of free information out there, but it would help if you can find a genuine step-by-step guide book.
I bought one back in the mid-90's about the golf swing and it was such a bad experience I've never purchased another one.
