    This clearly means that paypal is strictly following RBI rules. Now we all have to pay taxes on all paypal payments.... No one can hide their paypal payments from income tax dept :D

    I would like to asked if what is this PAN card number in paypal? I happen to use paypal but I am not seeing it in any of my paypal accounts? Is it only applicable in other countries ?

    Thank you paypal ,paypal have alternate my first name and last name as per the request and now my pan card worked. So it is simple guy Paypal is verifying first name and last name too

    I clearly remember to have predicted that RBI and Paypal soon will require Pan Card information. No worries... being a legit income tax payee I am proud to enter it to my paypal id. :)

    well make sure that your 4th letter of pan card is P and fifth is the first letter of ur surname

    Does assosciating PAN card with our account may lead to any financial problem? I mean like would they assosciate all the earnings so farto this PAN details. If yes then is there any issue of Income Tax etc?

    Well if you earn a taxable income and dont pay tax u could face issues..thats if paypal updates the PAN everytime we do a transcation

    but it takes 10 to 15 days...

    what can we do if we don't have PAN card, is there any chances that paypal will limit the account after few days?
    i think it will take me 1-2 month to get PAN card due to several issues

    i believe, one can get hold of the PAN number within 4 days of new application though the card might take 15 days

    I am a student and have a PAN card under my name. My question is, if i use it in paypal then will there be any problem at the end of financial year (my income is below taxable income). Also, will i have to do any paper work at the end of year regarding payments received via paypal ? And can i use my paypal account with my friends account ?

    I think you can withdraw funds, login to your paypal account. and click on paypal logo on top, and you'll be able to do all normal activities..
