Every where I turn people are always going on about article marketing I have resisted it for a long time as despite the fact that I am a native english speaker I am not a great writer and the whole article marketing thing looks very daunting However I feel I need to try it I am wondering how good it is in terms of getting targeted traffic How much traffic do you get from it per day In total for all your articles and how much per article Thanks
You get two kinds of traffic really, one from people actually reading the article and clicking thorugh to your site. The other is from increased traffic to your site due to article backlinks on sites like ezines and goarticles.
It depenes on the the article you wrote. If you spam in stead of offering value contents, then the traffice will no be good.
it depends how carefully your articles have been researched for keywords as well as where are you posting the articles.
Once again, its all about content. If your article is good and many people like it, it can generate much traffic.
It also depends on the keyword you are targeting in your article. If you get your article submitted to the top sites that rank well in the search engines, you can get regular traffic. Alot of people target keywords with good potential for sales and have limited competition.
Can i get a list of article directories that are really search engine friendly for submissions. Article submissions is one of the oldest and still most reliable ways to get back link to your site.
There are two ways to get traffic from article marketing. 1. Traffic from the article directory 2. Traffic from the search engine However, there some learning curves. Quality content Great Headlines Optimize your article for the search engines Catchy resource box link Rinse and repeat Are what you need to get the best out of article marketing. Best Wishes, John
It's also good to check out which topics are most viewed before submitting. As far as the format, go with list structured rather than a big block of content. People want to be able to scan through it rather quickly to see if it is information they are looking for. Joy
You are absolutely right, it is very daunting, as is most internet marketing tasks. However, it does work. Don't expect a ton of traffic from one article, it's likely not going to happen. Your best bet is just to include it in your schedule, talk about something that interests you that is related to your niche, then go for it. I often enjoy my writing when I go at it from this angle rather than, "I need 20 articles". I don't write a ton of articles, instead, I write a fe per week and that's about it a lot of the time. Keep in mind the value in article marketing is long term much like anything you do in SEO. Your article will send you a little bit of traffic for a very long time, which means a handful of conversions over the course of a few years of it being online. It was worth the effort in my point of view.
you need to bite the bullet and do it...then you will find out. At the end of the day it is Free and you won't be wasting money!
You need to write articles, but it is not as good as it used to be. My articles used to get 500-1000 page views no problem, and click-thru's in the 25-45% range. Now I am lucky to get 100 views and 10 clicks. My advice would be to write some articles and post them on ezine and articlesbase, and get maximum value for your efforts. Spread them around, spin them, give them to other webmasters to use.
It is all about your content. Your article content should be unique and should have some identical content in order to inspire the reader to read your article. Article with good content and targeted keyword really drives a good traffic to your site.
Definitely give it a try and here is why...quality backlinks...Articles have the potential to become "authority documents". In other words, if a few blogs or forums link to your articles because it contains useful, relevant information, particularly if it is on a new topic or field, Google will start referring to in on a regular basis. Check out this example. If you view the source of this article, you will see that the script automatically sets up a title, meta tags that contain a nice description and keywords and a high quality text link by the author. The only no-follow links are the "top authors". Here we have a well optimized relevant page that will be spidered by google. Also notice that this script auto generates a PDF file of the article. I have noticed as this sites administrator that the PDF file usually gets indexed by Google first, within about 2-3 weeks on the average, links included. Again, if an authoritative document is linked to by others as this one just was, then link/PR and traffic follow this document. If you are a good writer, then the sky is the limit when it comes to article marketing, if your articles are useful and relevant. Usefulness and relevance can be enhanced by doing a little research. Worried if the subject has already been covered? Do a little keyword research. Sincerely, The Bit Bot Administrator
well i m not much sure that from article u get traffic i learn from my past experience. In past had submitted different articles on different sites but i didn't get much traffic from that
The amount of traffic depends on the popularity of the site you submit your article to. If the articles directory is popular, you will get good traffic then, if not, your article will give a backlink to your site only, but this is also a good way of marketing.
I am also interesting in article marketing. Did not launch it yet and need to target instant approval directories like goarticles.
The hardest thing about Article marketing for most people is being able to write articles on a consistant basis. Using free tools like wordweb and searchautomatorforce help speed up the whole process. I also use Dragon dictation software which cuts down on the actual writing time by 30 or 40%. Good luck!
