Are you scared of Google

Am i scared of google as a company? As a search engine? As a user? Or all 3?

 

Play fair, yes...but Google will never be afraid of you.

 

Google are there to help people find the best of the best on the internet, if your the best of the best then you'll be happy!

 

People are compulsively obsessed with Google when the business world doesn't begin or end with it.

I have never seen Microsoft paying Adwords or worry about Google listings

 

Basically you're saying "If you are the best, you'll be happy"?
Alow me to add to this:
"If you are rich, then you'll be wealthy".
"If you are married, then you'll have a spouse".
"If you are thirsty, then you'll drink".
I have a lot more I could write that are just as useless as your response.

Can't see that your post is any more use than mine so if anything your comment is hypercritical.

The point is if you are top of Google for your keyword then you've obviously spent time and effort getting the correct content, backlinks and weighting of correct keywords so your site is the best in it's area that it could be, if it's not the best it won't appear first in Google's algorithm.

 

I think we are to reliant on Google, but that will not change until a better technology comes along. I think things will be going more towards user tendencies in the near future, more things like personalized search.

I think if your scared of Google then you are not one of the new generation of seo experts. The new generation does everything by the book. Google asks you and rewards you for good behaviour, so no i have never been scared of google. As i have always followed the rules and seen results for it

Why not scared? Nothing need to be scared...just relax

 

Google probably changes things more often than they tell us or most people know about anyway. What can you do.

 

I have heard that some sites get put in an "invisible" sandbox for a few months, then suddenly their site hits the rankings. Regardless, they are still the top search engine, so you need to tailor your SEO around their criteria. Scared? no.

 

Being a huge corporation, Google is of course frightening. However, as long I abide by the rules and play it safe, I don't fear Google. =D

 

Google will eventually have stronger competitors in the future it is just a matter of time. People always grow bored with the status quo and eventually look for new things.

 

Google is God of internet marketing and a big influence on the economy, Almost all businesses are under the mercy of google in a way or another.
