PayPal Ask Us to Give PAN NUMBER

It is quite strange that you don't have Pan Card, why don't you get Pan Card, its quite simple you can get in a weeks time. Go get it , Pan Card is very important if you want to do business efficiently, it will help you in many ways.

 

But you will get it in around 20 days. I got mine in 30 days.
By the way I entered mine in it and its working fine.

 

How much tax are we supposed to pay for an earning of above 1,60,000 ?

 

I have 1 more doubt, Can we send or recieve payments from other paypal accounts without PAN ?

Hey I think that anything wrong with your pan card details. Please check it here with filling your details. After submitting if your pan no show then your information is right but some times it didn't show your pan no so that whenever you enter your pan no at any place you can't do this.

You can apply a fresh pan card online. Its very simple and within 20 days it PAN card at your door. Here is the link where you can apply online PAN card

I got it a year back itself and i have used the same no for bank,trading account etc without any problem ..

Yes paypal asking pancard No. to all Indian Paypal Users.

 

RBI is making it very strict these days. Blame the terrorism and money laundering. It is not just Paypal, but all money transactions (especially from abroad) is under high level scrutiny now. Various agencies are taking measures and companies doing money transfer / foreign exchange are also asked to do a lot of new / strict measures.

 

Even my cousin is having similar problem. Its not accepting her PAN number. Whats wrong with this paypal??

 

I too also asked to enter Ph.Number and PAN card...I entered Ph.Number and Itz Not Accepting my Dads PAN card..So what to do?

 

with the PAN card usage, using multiple paypal accounts isn't an open option any more most of my friends have multiple accounts, 1 for personal and 1 for online business

 

^^It should not be your dad's PAN card .. It should be your PAN card no. that's why its not accepting ..You cant just enter any PAN card no as you wish my friend

Paypal is really pissing me off .. Dunno why they are not accepting my valid PAN card no.

 

Like adithya said, you cannot use somebody else PAN card and the you name on the PAN should be exactly same as in paypal. Paypal will compare your PAN no to the govt database and if there is a name mismatch, they will not accept it.

I just added by PAN and it worked fine!

 

Your point is 100% correct, i just added mine and it got easily accepted. I think this is good move by RBI and Paypal, now they can trace the money coming into indian accounts easily.
