PR update anytime soon ?

Hey all,

I am hearing whispers of several sites getting recent PR updates and was just wondering if this is true or not, i know i normally find out through DP before anywhere else but yeah several people have mentioned to me in the last 2 days that their sites PR has grown.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed more on this topic.

I personally have not seen my pagerank updated.

 

Yesterday my site had a PR of 0 and today it is showing as PR1 so i think a PR update is in progress:



It would be about correct timing if you take away, the last PR update where we waited more than 6 months, my site is sub 200,000 alexa and has more than 1800+ backlinks i would have expected much higher.. maybe it is not final yet.. ohh well this should be an interesting time

 

My sites are also not updated any PR Ranks?

 

im still waiting for my page to be ranked, currently it's sitting at "not ranked" hopefully it will be soon.

 

None of my websites have changed.

 

Most of my sites are showing grey bar only. I am expecting green at any moment. I think PR will be updated within couple of weeks.

 

To me it seems like PR mean less and less, if anything. I think its just a number to fool us

what tool did you post a picture of earlier (that you were checking your SERP with)

 

They keep updating PR and backlinks all the time..

 

Backlinks yes -- but PR supposedly only gets updated about once every quarter.

I used this site: http://livepr.ezer.com/ <-- it's been very accurate for me in the past and has been a quality site (it's not mine so don't think i am spamming) ive used it for ages and the data centers get updated regularly which many sites / scripts continue to use old out dated info...

 

I took a look into this site. so far it's been very accurate for me also.

 

I think we have to wait about one month to see if our page rank has change or not, Google can't update all sites in only one day...
If Google is really updating page rank now, we should build many backlinks and others things the most possible!
I check live PR and instead of N/A (that i always see on my seo bar), i have a PR0... xD

 

well according to this tool, My rank is 1. But according to the toolbar in firefox i'm still gray bar.. (unranked..) So I don't know which to believe.

I'll shed some light...your wasting your time caring about useless PR.Try spendoing some time creating quality content people will care about.
