    50-50. yes, and no. Some other analytics tools show variants - but I guess since the big G rules, it is worthwhile having it anyways. No harm done...

    I don't think it is 100% accurate since they relay on JavaScript and cookies. The only thing that can be accurate is your server logs and any tool used them to generate the reports. Ofcourse the analytics has a lot of features that you can not get if for free from using other tools.

    I guess Google Analytics is using urchin to generate reports. So if you install urchin on your servers the report generated from them can be very accurate.

    Google Analytics is my favourite tools. I checked by GA some my project - it's very cool. As for me, GA is accurate, but stats are comming with some delay(usually few hours, sometimes few day).
