starting a new directory

Hello friends i am planning to start a new direcory of my niche professionals for say doctors.

Now i need features like the all required field including name,age,hospital,website,area should be searchable.
Is this possible on wordpress or any other script offers this?

• hospital
• website
• area
• etc

Hi, If you are planing on creating a pretty large directory, I would recommend using a directory script instead of word press...just google "directory scripts"..

 

Follow his advice, don't use wordpress (it was made for blogging / CMS), there are script made exclusively for directories, and if you are in doubt which one to use, well most good scripts out there have free version, try them before buying:

PHPLD
ESYNDICAT
QLWEB

There are a lot more scripts, search them in google.

You can try my script. It has freedom to customize the data fields you want to have in the directory.

 

i think you can do in word press.if you know php, html you can do that.
but i am not sure.
