Hello there im having prob with two most famous plugin hope you guys help me out. As i found so many of answer over here and got almost every prob when ever I face. 1st one is Tabbed Widgets When I enable it and try to use it, it show the selected widgets in vertical line, instead of tabbed. I try to find answer every where on internet but failed to get the answer also try to email the plugin writer but didnt get the reply. I think there are lots of ppl facing this problem. any other alternate of this plugin ! please guide me what to do. 2nd is just a question, if i use Viva Thumb-Zoom plugin is this possible to use external image, because i dont want to upload the image to my hosting. can I use this by just adding any custom txt ! or to enable this I must upload the image to my hosting account ! or any other way to show image with post ? instead of this ! if there any then its possible for me to delete viva thumb-zoom from my theme and just copy the code to get that work.. Please guide me. Thanks in advance green would be added.
Not sure on the first question, but the second sounds like hot linking to me, the people hosting your external images would not be too happy.
Best place to get an answer about a plug in is with the creator. If there were lots of people with the same problem, seems like someone would have posted a solution by now. I would troubleshoot by deactivating the plug in, and removing any possible conflicting flash, jquery, or js effects, banners, or scripts that may be interfering with the plug in, as well as all other plug ins and try using it alone, with nothing else running. If you are still getting errors, it may just be that it doesn't work. Sorry, I don't use it, can't be of more help, but it may help if you post any error messages that you are receiving or at least a link to the site with the problem. Yes ,that is called hot linking and it is a big no-no on the web. And, just taking images and using them without consent or permission is possible copywrite infringement..another big no-no on the web. What's wrong with your hosting account that you can't upload images?
Thanks mate, I will follow your words, and try not to use hotlinking, nothing is wrong about the hosting just it take time and lots of space as my blog is a news blog so it update almost every hr. any way i will try that plugin in fresh installation you were right. any other plugin or something else messing with it. thanks mate.
