Hey ! I was wondering how can I report a website which is uploading songs (illegaly) for its users to download. I warned them twice but they wont stop! Is there any website which i can report this? So they can warn their Hosting Company.. thanks
Most of them have been already reported by others and as you see, no one can do anything about it - private off-shore servers can't be shut off just like that.
Lol, very funny ! Contacting the hosting company is the better idea as they may suspend or terminate it. But, legally talk, they are allowed to do that as when a user put a music or video, when he subscribe, he check a checkbox saying that he would not do illegal staff, and he do, site will delete his account. Then, website admin can just say "I warned them, and we are now cleaning our members base" even if they don't .. As long admin or admin staff don't upload illegal things, nothing can happen to them.
Most hosting companies won't do a damn thing unless they recieve a proper takedown notice, and a lot (offshore ones) won't take any notice of any they do receive. Surely you have more important things to worry about?
