Is Paypal Asking EVERYBODY For Proof of Transaction (Invoices, Receipts, etc.)?

Just wondering if Paypal is asking everybody - premier, business, or personal account holders for proof of transaction, or are they singling out only a select few users (like personal account holders)?

    That doesn't sound too good...

So I guess in the future you should just tag every payment as "services"?

But what can you do if the guy sending you payment chooses "goods" instead of services?

I mean, you can't really go on telling that to every buyer...

Though I'm a freelance writer, they requested the details and invoices of 5 transactions from me. When I submitted those documents, my account was restored in 3 hours.

I gave screenshots of the dealing I made via DP and emails regarding the payments I received. They were not too big and the sum of all the 5 transactions were $331.
Yea - My account was limited on March 4th and was cleared on 5th.
I have requested withdrawal on 5th itself.

    Thanks

Yes I am suffering with the same problem now these days. Paypal have limited my account on 1 march and it is still limited yet. I have personal account on paypal and they are asking me invoices for some personal payments which I have got few days ago. But I cant understand how I can provide them invoices for the services as I am a link seller on here. and I also dont know if thay are asking for only personal accounts or premier and business account also. Please help me to come out from this situation.

No , they are asking for proof only for personal payments.

    Yes I think too.

and type of account you have ?

Is this necessary for personal account holders to submit the ID proofs ? But paypal has never asked to me regarding this.

You can always upload a copy of the PMs detailing the conversation you had with your client in completing the deal. Paypal needs proof to verify that actual business did take place! :)

And please... next time use edit button in your first post, instead of making successive posts... one after another!
