You will be stupid not to withdraw money from Paypal when you have the chance!

I think this is going to be a temporary thing. They must be trying to delay the process of withdrawal as much as they can. I really hope that is the case and that they are upto no evil!

 

Since they have already suspended personal payments to/from India, they appear to be double checking the payments still to be withdrawn and which have been received as 'personal' before the restriction was implemented!

I had a personal payment of 33$ and 20$ each and they asked me details for those 2 -_-

 

For all you guys who have been affected by this issue. What is the range of amount ($xx, $xxx, $xxxx etc.) that you have in your paypal account currently?
I guess if you have a decent balance to withdraw now, paypal might be trying to verify the personal payments received by you earlier.
But this is absolutely unacceptable becoz they suspended personal payments only in Feb 2010.

 

there is a sizable amount of PP balance in my acc as of now..

And the transaction they are questioning is of a mere 10$ personal payment sent to my account on the 1st of Jan.

and I do not have many personal payments into my account and even if there were 1 or 2 more personal payments it was for smaller amounts <10$.

Hey guys,

I am affected the same way as some of you here have. Submitted details they asked for only to get another email asking details abt another transaction. But I do not find the resolve button.

I called PP to complain tht there is no resolve button but they want me to fax details...

Just keep us updated guys on what is happening to your account and what are you doing to resolve the limitations

 

I am sure all these are personal payments of which paypal has no idea as to for which reason the payments were sent or received

at present my paypal does not contain any fund as i used xoom to take out all the money and now i use wire transfer. but once my clients again send me money (for services) to paypal, is there any chance of getting limited for the past transactions. i definitely had personal transactions in my paypal in december and january but i have already received those money in my bank.

is paypal going to limit me for those transactions (i think, personal transaction was allowed then)? any idea?

 

Faxing details is just insane.. it would be quite a few pages !!!!! isnt it ? and I have heard, they sometimes dont even respond to faxes

 

PayPal is great until they screw you. PayPal unjustly denied me access to my funds for almost FOUR YEARS.

Paypal is a monopoly and will screw you because THEY CAN. PayPal makes money off your PayPal problems. Chances are you are here because PayPal is denying you access to your funds (even though you did NOTHING wrong) or because you got scammed somehow and PayPal does not want to help you. Maybe you have experienced:

Your money will be will be stolen by those means..... and u know people... they have agents in this forums and listen(read) all the voices..

All sad stories aside, nobody gets away screwing anyone! This isn't anything philosophical but the choices we make every day. You approach this problem with a loser attitude, you've lost before the battle began. It doesn't take Paypal to screw piss weak people. This is not done till it's done!

One way or the other Paypal is still going to pay back my money. You my friend will be witness to that! Let's see who will have the last laugh

 

DO NOT WORRY

Here I would like to share my Experience which I DO BELIEVE shall be useful to you all. I was one among you a few minutes back [You can see my posts expressing the same frustrations...!] as my 2 accounts were [my team's] limited.
First they asked me to explain a transaction about which they were suspicious. I resolved it by giving enough explanation
Then I got another mail asking me the details [invoices, Contact info of the buyer and Additional info] of other 4 transactions. Though I was frustrated at the moment I saw the moment, I had a second thought of giving it a try. As I was unable to get any invoice from any of my buyers, I simply saved some screen shots regarding some deals from DP and other freelance sites. When I sent those screen shots with some additional info explaining all those stuff, MY ACCOUNT WAS RESTORED WITH FULL FEATURES IN 3 HOURS[/B]

May I tell YOU all to DO THE SAME!

OK! Finally, PP lets me withdraw! I spoke to them and they did something and they promised to send me my cheque!!!

I had some $7k something lying in there
