Need help with slow wp site

Hi,

I am new here and just signed up because i need some help with for my wp site.

I don't know why my site suddenly became so slow. In google webmaster tools it said 8,2 loading time for page but a while ago it was super fast.

Please can you check my site and tell me what to do?

Thanks for the reply.

I don't think it's my host because all my other sites are running super fast. I tried removing some plugins, but still no success. I'm now deleting all the records from the wassup plugin, hope this works and it will be fast again.

 

From my ISP,your website loading speed is normal.
Maybe you should try contact your ISP to check your internet speed.

 

Could also be if word press have done any kind of updates to their scripts? could possibly be playing havoc with your current setup. Are all your other sites word press websites?

 

@TheLinkBuilders not all my sites are wp, but all the others seemed to be running ok.

@Mentos I haven't contact my isp, but i think it had to be that cause my site is running fine now, thanks for checking.

Hi Romson,

It could be:

1. A new theme that is heavy or has a lot of plugins (or loads with errors).
2. A plugin that is not functioning well, or not approved by WordPress (see if it is listed in the wordpress.org plugins).
3. You can always install the Super Cache plugin, it will make your blog much faster.

I went to the site and it uploaded fine the first time; then I revisited it and it took a few seconds. I have the same problems and I called my hosting provider. I was told to remove my plugins one by one and reinstall them to see if any one plugin was affecting my site. It was pain staking since I had several plugins. You should delete plugins that you are no longer using. And yes, I agree with other respondent that a top heavy design can weigh the load time down.

The second visit slow down time could be a result of the caching plugin since now when I revisit the site, it is looking for files on my pc. to the user, it can feel like a load slow time. Not 100% sure about this, but just my thoughts.

 

There would be problem with your hsoting providers or you may use Super Cache plugin for your wordpress, i hope this will help you
