[Suggestion & Help] CMS project Proposal

We are preparing a quote for a CMS related project.

The company has given us their basic requirement for their website.
Which includes many simple implementations ....

Apart from the simple implementations they want a CMS to be implemented as follows.

> connect three users Franchise - Parents - Teachers.
> have login - user panel - registration option
> An admin to moderate all users.
> connect an existing database with it.

apart from these requirements there are no specific requirements to this CMS put on yet. We are expecting them to update us on it during the project period. What competitive quote can I give for this project. Any suggestions are welcomed.

 

Be prepared for customizations, whatever option you choose.

Since you are dealing with a pre-existing database (meaning already established user data and table layouts), you will need to do some data mapping work (or write an export/import utility for the CMS of your choice).

Beyond that, you haven't indicated the sophistication level of the end-user or the team doing the transition. Is this project ultimately going to be turned over to an IT team, or someone who is typically less technically sophisticated (i.e., administrator, teacher)?

This type of information would make it easier to start at least weeding out those solutions that don't map well to the project's needs.
