I think twitter is a helpful networking site.

 

Doesn't work well for me that's why I step on the brakes weeks ago.

 

With google caffeine, i heared Twitter works Really well. However i am not sure about it yet. But in general defenatley Twitter help.

Twitter is a good source like if you have a big site and it is down ... you can update ur members on it.

 

nice to get some traffic from but personally i never read there

 

I don't care to read, I care to having results and yes, traffic is coming from Twitter like river flows

 

I have seen an increase in traffic to my site using twitter. It's also good to connect with people who have similar interests. I've learned a lot through articles people have linked to on twitter.

 

it works like squidoo, you need to promote a business page and attract visitors. it's good!

 

it depends on how you use it. i prefer facebook over twitter since in facebook you can target your niche properly and you can market your site more effectively since you can post videos, pictures.

 

if you have lots of followers thats waiting for your blog update then it won't be a waste of time.

 

ofcourse it's good, millions of ppl wouldn't use it if it wasn't
if all you plan to do is spam twitter, than stay away

 

Well, its good to use.
But you need to have enough followers and also know the tricks to use them.

I think it depends on your purpose

 

I like twitter very much for knowing the updates of various companies and their products.

Its always better to follow them for latest updates.

 

I think Twitter is a good way to increase your traffic and I like to stay updated regarding different products and sales, but in the mean time it creates a lot of noise so you need to select careful who you follow.

 

I have several domains attached to Twitter, posting on various subjects.. most of them get a lot of traffic from Twitter but I need to admit not much of an increase in sales just a few dollars here and there. However, the g seems to love Twitter and many of my newer site get indexed really fast.

Waste of time? No
Big Sales? No
Increased Traffic? Yes

Twitter is a good source to increase your Traffic if used in a proper manner and updated on daily basis.

 

You can get tons of traffic from twitter but can get surety about the quality traffic.
