    if I was to accept an 8000 usd or 10,000 usd payment online how would I do that?

    What are my best options for securing my money after the product has been received by the buyer?

    Can this be done from one country to another.

    Say USA to Canada? or Europe to Canada?

    I would suggest you to go with Escrow and share the fees among buyer and seller.
    Both the parties are safe in this transaction.

    How secure is Excrow? What if I send the sql and files and the buyer says nothing was received?

    Or do I send the fiels and sql to Escrow?

    If that is the case, i would suggest you to split the payment for Domain, Files, SQL transfer, etc.

    and if you send the sql and files you can divide it into several parts and do not send all files in once

    Wire transfer will be the best option if you are taking care of fees...
    If you are ready to pay and they can't make wire then you can go for Escrow..It's the best and fully secured.

    You can burn the files into CD then ship it to buyer via registered mail.
    So buyer can't denied he not received it.
