    I was wondering, what does Google make of direct traffic to sites which contain adsense? Does it get suspicious or is it perfectly fine?

    ofcourse its fine.How about i open browser and type google.com.It's perfect source.It is only suspicious when all your traffic is direct if your site is old lol

    Thats funny, could of swear someone already mentioned this.

    If your traffic is legit then who cares where it comes from. Legit, meaning they came to your site by their own free will.

    As long as a reasonable amount of your clicks are converting, it shouldn't be a problem.
