We know of multiple ways to promote your individual or company blog online but what about offline? I have seen Many Bloggers putting 100% of marketing time and resources to promoting their blog online. Its easier for someone to access blog from a link, i think we should also try offline marketing. Offline marketing tactics might not drive as much traffic as an online marketing campaign, but they will prove to be a very cost-effective way to build credibility.

what are the benefits of offline Promotion ?

    * Most people are trust offline ads more and are more comfortable with buying products that have their ads offline because they get to see the people are actually dealing with in different instances and in the rare occasion that there is a fraud, they can easily reach the TV or radio station to confirm the marketer or brand and reach them.
    * Most People do not even have access to the internet and for those who do, it’s probably just for the sake of checking their emails, keeping in touch and research. Anything else is a time waster. People like this still listen to radios, attend yard sales, go to auctions and see bill board ads.
    * Promoting your blog offline will help you to develop your blog or site reputation.

12 Simple ways to Promote your Blog offline.

#1. Business cards or Visiting Cards. Having a business card or visiting card is a great way to introduce people you meet in day-to-day life about your blogging activity. Your Business card or visiting card very attractive and must contain your blog URL , your name, your email and your contact no.

#2. Arrange Events. One great way to promote your blog is arranging an event. This will help you and your blogger friends to promote blogs. It is also a great way to associate yourself with authorities in your niche.

#3. Newspapers and other Publications. It may be a bit difficult to get the Wall Street Journal to pick up the story, but you should fare better with more local papers. Write a story on your blog and email it along with a press release to journalists.

#4. Always Attend Bloggers meet. This is a great way to strengthen the bond of your community and find new local readers. These days bloggers meet are very common. Share your ideas with other bloggers, try to make a network and give your business card.

#5. Use Stickers for Promotion. I have seen multiple blogs having stickers of their blog like shoemoney. Write a cachy URL and tagline, it might be good idea.

#6. Write an article for Magazine. There are plenty of local magazines around you. Write a cachy article for magazine that caters to your demographic.

#7. Sponsor a fund raising event. Find an event or not-for-profit that you can sponsor as a writer or blogger. This will help in your promotion to the community. One tip: Make sure you believe in the community based sponsorship before you buy. I have read this on kylelacy.

#8. Write a Press Release. Write a cachy Press Release, Don’t forget to include your blog URL. Though there are many tactics to promote your blog offline but it is still a viable option to promoting your blog.

#9. Branded ‘Stuff’ Placing your website address on items such as pens, pencils, badges, mouse mats, cups and t-shirts etc can be a very effective advertising tool. These products are usually given away for free, but the returns can be well worth the initial outlay like.shoemoney.

#10. Use Brochure with top Posts. Create a brochure that is catered directly to your blog. Take the best and top read post from your blog and transfer it to the print material. It is highly recommended to print in attractive colors combination and with pictures.

#11. Expensive Traditional Marketing. Radio, Television, yellow page all are very effective way of promoting. Probably one of the most expensive forms of advertising due to its massive audience, especially on prime time T.V. It is relatively well priced and because it’s on TV can give the impression that your company is bigger and more successful than it actually is. (E.g – yahoo Answers).

#12. Tell your Friends and co-workers. First of all contact all your friends and cooperatives who you thought can part of our community. Chances are, unless you write a blog on making money online, your blog is about a hobby or interest area. You have other friends in that area, take advantage of this.

Promoting a website, in this case a blog offline don't generate the same traffic than promoting online. Firstly it is not so easy to promote a blog offline, even if your content its so good.

Offline promoting may not be as good as online but it's best to promote your sites anyway and every way you can.

In many arenas effective off-line marketing will outperform on-line marketing. I can't imagine a company not promoting their website in their off-line marketing materials.
