I'll share everything that I did:) Since its a photoshop tutorial site, somethings are different:

    1. Submit to tutorial engine!
    2. Ask for sponsors, run a competition
    3. Give tutorials away for free to other language sites. My vintage effect tutorial is featured of spanish site:)
    4. Post on other blogs!
    5. Post on related forums!

    Thats about it:)

A Quick Note on Traffic, If you have something that is related to web-mastering, and its a good resource I would be more then happy to give it a featured listing at my webmaster resource directory http://www.lynxme.com/

Just submit your resource and drop me a line, (bigfoot@runfatcat (dot) com My Primary email) matter of fact,
at lynxme I allow you to submit with deep links so if you have a few different resources feel free to submit them all.

I promote lynxme with Farly good SEO so far (about 21% of all hits are directly to detail pages from google) and also use 1800banners to get the attention of webmasters
[if your already getting traffic this can basically Double your traffic Make sure you checkout all of the Targeting Options]
(Also I'm running a 5000 Free impressions deal that i just posted here http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1715452 )

You may also want to Submit your main Domain URL to http://www.runfatcat.com/ (3 month Alexa Rank of 45,842) and again drop me a line and I'll feature it on that site as well...

    I Hope this helps Mate,
    David M. :)

No worries. Tutorial engines are sites that you can submit your tutorials to. I call them tutorial engines, but they are sites such as:

    www.good-tutorials.com
    www.tutorialized.com
    www.pixel2life.com

They are the main ones but many out there. Another thing I noticed is that, if you make an article, right after you make a tutorial, so pretty much release them after each other, people bounce a lot from the tutorial the article.

Maybe thats a stupid thing to say, cause you might all know that, but I didn't so, thought I'd say that:)

If anymore questions, just please ask!

also try website like "eHow" "yahoo answer" websites... tutorial websites will fit well with those marketing methods.. but you are doing very well already.. Maybe "how-to" or "tips" traffic is like entertainment traffic.. easy to get but hard to monetize...

Really? So I could make a book about making tutorial sites successful?
How much could i sell it for?

If would to make one, it would be like 50pages long, and very descriptive. I wouldn't wanna sell a crap cheap one for like $5.
