This is the first I have ever heard of a hosting company offering SEO?

What kinds of guarantees are they making for the SEO?

I feel like this is some kind of new company idea... hosting AND seo at the same time.

Someone please let me some more info about this if you know about it. Thanks!

There are many companies claiming that their hosting will help your se rankings. Their theory is that having your sites spread out over different class c ip addresses will help. They are snake oil salesmen plain and simple. There has never been any proof that their services will benefit you any more than a regular webhost.

Their argument is that all of the biggest sites have a dedicated IP address. Well, no kidding. They're big, they have that luxury. Them being on a dedicated IP is the result of their success, not the cause.

If your site is hosted on a server in the US, it will probably rank higher in the search engines, for searches made from the US. The same applies to whatever country your site is hosted in. Eg, if your site is hosted on a server in reland, it will probably rank higher in the search engines, for searches made from Ireland.

If your host goes down a lot and brings your site down with it, this will be bad for your search engine listings. Search engines will not rank your site highly if it's frequently down, when their bots visit it.

Apart from the factors above, I don't believe that the hosting you chose will have an impact on your site's SEO. You should ask the host to explain how their hosting specifically helps with a site's SEO. I'd be very interested to hear their response.

Well; Google PR algorithm counts IPs from *different* Ips, so yes, IP's matter. And there are SEO hosters that sell servers / accounts with many different IPs. In fact Hostgator has such a service (which is more expensive than their normal hosting). Does it help; I think it does, but that's more a belief than proof. But backlinks are counted from distinct IPs, that's been documented in many blogs and forums.

This has nothing to do with SEO.
Most hosting companies provide more than 50mb per domain.

IMO There is NO such service called " SEO Hosting "

Google detects IP's in the same range & netblock owner.... So putting all your clone blogs on seperate IP's and linking them will only get you penalized...

However, using seperate netblocks will gain a result but an unnatural one.
