Well, mines was was just a bit over my average on Sunday and Saturday, but today (Monday), it is horrible. Traffic is about only 40% of what I usually get.

Not good. It has never been good since the summer period in US. Hopefully it gets better after labor day.

Mine was just like any other day, for some reason though I made some good 900 USD sales today on one of my sites. I don't think it's labour day related, but I'm pretty happy to make that today.

Yeah, it hasn't been the greatest. About 1000 uniques today. I've got this feeling that Tuesday will make up for it.

I had a 40% drop in traffic and 20% drop in earnings, but nothing too horrible.

That's nice. I hope tomorrow, traffic will be crazy but I know that it will return to normal.

As less than 30% of my traffic comes from the USA - I was hardly affected as it happens.

The site would have actually benefited from the fact that all my US based competitors shut down for the day, so lots of my readers would have not got the daily newsletters from them.

Good for you, excepting local holidays for your readership, which, in the case of, say, Italy, may be the entire month of August. I would easily endure a long weekend of no US visitors rather than a month of no European visitors.

So, have you found a way to tap into that underserved and yet hungry and wealthy niche? Your wording would suggest not: "would have." Oh, but to actually have that niche cornered for a day or two... might get them for the next year.

Do tell, have you a method? Or the madness?

    I know the people.

Weekends are always slow for me. Things picked up slightly yesterday as I guess some people were working. Today has more than made up for the past 3 days. :)
