Usually this word is used in games as far as I know. I used to play Lineage and that word was used very often there. When one player defeated other, he might say "Owned, noob!" or "OWN3D". It describes a domination of one above another. I'm also curious why this word was used by GreatQuality in this context.

I use free web hosting, and it is something that usually happens.

 

Free hosting is not very good option. How often do you back-up your blog? I would move to any paid hosting as soon as possible.

I think only you can find a template for your blog. I suggest buying it for 50 $ that isn't much for professionally coded template.
You could download pack of templates from here and here.
I personally would recommend this one and maybe this one. You should code custom CSS for them to make them look fabulous.

paid hosting is good idea, but I don't have enough money to pay it :'(
