    Hello DP,

In the present situation, nobody knows how much more time will it take to solve this problem.Already it's been more than 1 month.
Can anybody explain the detail procedure to use paypal "echeck" option:

    How to use it ?
When will the check reach home ?
    What's the processing fees?
How much time will it take to encash?
    What are the risks involved?
What if my check is lost or don't reach at my address?-BIG QUESTION

Anyone who has actually used this method successfully;please share your experience here.

    Hi

First of all echeck is different from check,

    How to use it ?
Simple just request the check from PayPal as you do for bank withdraw.

When will the check reach home ?
    7-10 days depending on location.

    What's the processing fees?
Depends on the amount that you withdraw.

How much time will it take to encash?
Is its international then 22 days min otherwise normal time that 2-3 days.

    What are the risks involved?
I don't see any risk involved in it.

What if my check is lost or don't reach at my address?-BIG QUESTION
If your address is correct then your check won't go anywhere.

    Thanks

Thanks for the kind information.Have you used this option successfully? I read on other DP threads that it takes 22-28 days to reach check at home.
Should I try with small amount, say $50? If in case check losts, then does the paypal reissue the check cancelling older check. Please advice.

I have used this option once, and yes it take almost 30 days to reach the check at your address. And it takes 3 days to clear as they issue CITI Bank local clearance cheques.

I only have one concern: if the check lost in between than what? As paypal sends the check through normal post and not registered post, security is definately a concern.

I can be lost as cheques are sent via ordinary airmail. However, it will be an a/c payee cheque, so it will be useless to others unless they have a similar name.

The cheques are in Indian Rupees, so no hidden charges.

PS: I haven't used cheque withdrawal ever, but this is what I have heard from reliable sources.

Check option is safe but the problem is with the postal delivery time. Not sure in which country you are located.
If you are in US or Canada, I guess you could get it in short time while compared to other Countries...
