I'm No 2 In Google!

My site is less then 3 weeks old, and out of 57 million search results for the terms related to my site, I'm No2!
Okay, I can't see many people searching these exact terms, but out of 57 million results, number 2 is not bad ;)

Congratulations Brian, it is always exiting to get listed on the search engines, even more exciting when you start getting visitors.

Yes, do you think I'll go down? If so, why?

The answer is rather simple. Google loves fresh content and tends to put those active sites on top. If you update it regularly you should have no problem staying there.

As an example my portfolio page was once ranked 3 for a relatively competitive keyword combination in Google, now it doesn't even appear in the first 1000 results.

    Good luck with your site.

    Regards, George

    Thanks George.

It's a forum, so hope to have no problem with content.

Well, it started as a bit of fun, I never thought it would take off like it has, hence me using YABB. To be honest I don't think its too bad, but I have been told by several people to swap over to VB.

    Congrats Brian ...!

How long your website need time to be indexed by Google?

If your website was indexed less than 1 week, could you tell me how you do that, please?

    Thank you :)

It took a couple of weeks to be indexed by Google, it is still only showing as No1 by typing in specific terms.
With it being a forum, the content is updated daily, apparently search engines love that.
