HELP! SYNC attacked!

Ive been sync attacked (this isnt a first), and I was sync attacked yesterday. my webhost told me to contact there admin, which I did, no reply yet.

Since I was suspended yesterday for this, they are saying I may not get my website back.

I actually have 2 websites ehre, 1 domain hosted and 1 domain masked onto a directory. There are a few things Im wondering:

I have a programmer who programs PHP, hes the only person with my password, which I know isnt needed for a sync attack.

I have many, many script ruyn off this account and on a normal day, I use around a gig of bandwidth every 70 unique viewers.

How do I toughen up security?
Whats a good, cheap, high bandwidth host? Currently I can use 50 GB a month of bandwidth if I upload much.

Yesterday I was doing alot of deleting and reuploading of scripts that were 50 MB size. Could this look like a sync attack?

I have had my forums hacked several times, and several news scripts hacked. This is my 4th BSOD attack. They usuallly dont effect me, but this time my web host is telling me to scram..

 

I didn't know that websites have BSOD attacks?

Ask for more details of the attack from your host.

Get a backup of your files.

 

I meant DDOS. And yes, I got a new host, (webhostingpad was the old sucky one) and yes, I was watching a parody of windows when posting this so I type BDOS.




Ok, I neeed to be able to do one thing:

Block a referer - - all my attacks came from the same website, I have the website, I just need to know how to block it so people cant come from it.

 

What control panel are you running?

What type of traffic is it?

Kind of traffic? We get around 50 unique hits a day, maybe 200 hits, and we have alot of images, so its a kinda high bandwidth site.

Could you provide result of netstat -nap | grep SYN*

 

If it's a single IP address, follow up with your hosting provider and see if they can block that IP in their network access list.

 

I can fix 100% this issue.
