Yahoo News, How to be in?

can anybody explain how to get noticed with yahoo news? Is it a paid service?

Thanks hubel. But I was asking how to get noticed there just like on google. I mean by submitting to some other sites or something like that. I was not asking about how to submit a news site to yahoo..

 

Yahoo runs syndicated news. Look at the sources. Find a related topic and try and get a hold of the editor. It's like getting a local newspaper to interview you and include a link or contact information.

Clearly it's not as simple as submitting a story to some feed source. Yahoo isn't exactly a user voting site like Digg.

Surprisingly so many people overlook their local media.

 

If you submit a press release from prweb and other press release services, they usually automatically gets included on Yahoo News.

PRweb is paid now.. do you know any free services? What are the other websiteS?

 

I guess most of the press release sites are cached by yahoo. However there is no exact link or page to submit it...
