Classified ads

I keep hearing that Classified ads can help your SEO - link buidling.

Can anyone give me a list of Classified ads that I should post on?

Are you referring to Craig's list type classified? Maybe adding links to a classified ad pointing to a website(s)?

 

I am not sure how this would have any lasting effect. Craigslist ads are only live for 30 days.

 

So link building and bringing traffic via classified ads are not worth it?

 

I don't think so, unless your promoting something that you want a quick sign up.. For long time visitors, bad idea.

There is a lot of classifieds sites list on Google if you search it, some of them are focus on auto, some are for general, you could choose some sites which the most close to your site content.

Some classifieds will last for 90 days or 120 days. It helps for traffic.

Classified ads can help only in getting some intermittent web traffic. Since these classified ads are removed after a preset period (like 30 days, 60 days etc) you cant get a backlink through them. But you can try putting your link in classifieds sites like craigslist, backpage, olx, kijiji, gumtree, usfreeads, etc.

 

Classified sites will refresh there database on every month, my point is classifieds helps to get more clients also can get some traffic during the add display(30 days), that is not a good link building method.

 

I dont think so its help in SEO, it can brnig traffic but
