301 Redirect?

    I was reading the 301 redirect posted under this topic. It seems a little confusing and tried a few of them. I'm not getting the redirect I want. I want a 301 redirect, but I want any URL structure (files) from my old site to automatically 301 redirect into my new domain index.html file?
