How to do social bookmarking

Hi all!

I am fairly new to Internet Marketing having only started in December 2009. I'm mainly an article writer but a client asked me to do social bookmarking. I have tried to read on the definition in Wikipedia but I can't seem to understand it.

Can somebody help me with this problem???

digg.com is the best social bookmarking site, it is providing no follow links but still showing links in google webmaster tools.

social bookmarking is sharing your links to other users. just fill up the title, description, keywords..just like article submission.

 

Basically its just another way to promote your business through ways in which a certain population will see your link etc. I think its a good, but not great, method to promote.
