Check option is disabled in paypal for indians ?

Check option takes 15 days or so to your doorsteps.

Paypal can cancel that check and give you your dollars back in your account if the check is not encashed.

I did lost one check and they had cancelled it for me in past.

Check is risky though as it can get lost

Better wait for a permanent fix by paypal regarding this problem. Or if the need is urgent then try out xoom.

 

It depends from country to country. In India the cheque is usually received within 15-20 days. Though it can take more time too.

 

Yes used to take around 20 to 25 days and upto a month.

But in recent times I have received it in 15 days - in 18 days - in 17 days etc.

I alreay made a cheque withdrawal 4 days back, and i still see processing for my cheque request, may be it will be released on monday and i pray that it reaches me fast.

what is the paypal limit for premium account holder?

I mean how much USD we can keep in paypal?

 

there is no limit to keep if u got too much money they may limit and ask for verification

 

Chandan...keep transactions with Xoom.. they are just great.. I've got my money with good exchange rates to my bank. Also their customer service dept is very nice..

Same is experienced by me.

You may not withdraw an amount greater than your limit.

And at the botthon it says my Limit is 0 (zero).
I have not withdrawn anything.

I have a verified premier account.

 

correct, but sometime they are behaving strange with us.

is it due to too much use of coupons or trying invalid coupons or abusing their system? not sure why they are sometime stopping payments calling intra transfer or after 1/2 successful withdrawl.

PS: Personally not faced any trouble yet!

My paypal acc now shows "cheque issued" , i hope it will reach me in less than 10-12 days.

I will post here once i get the cheque. I took 6 days for paypal to issue a cheque, so you people can aware of the time consumption.

i really dont care about $5 as long as check reaches me and cash it in bank.

 

Xoom is working great for me.I've made 3 transactions already(2 of them using coupons).I've got the money in less than 24 hours all 3 times.

They have a limit of 12 transactions per financial year.But the current financial year ends in just another month.

 

How long does it take for our banks to process these cheques?

 

it normally takes 1-3 days. as its a local clearance
