Is Yahoo traffic better than Google traffic?

I don't think so. Yahoo traffic is good and useful but can't be better than Google. Google traffics are converted into cash and in case of Yahoo it is not much as Google search engine.

 

I agree...the bottom line is you have to be on Google 1st page to survive in any business. I don't view Yahoo the same way.

 

Yes, Op I get huge traffic from Google byt thy are come for very litle time and stay on site very short but less traffic from yahoo but compare then G they stay longer on my site

yahoo traffic is better for me too and adsense earning comes from those visitors from yahoo.

Google much popular and Yahoo had nicely traffic. I think from both had benefits and drawbacks of each other.

 

Google is still best not even for me but for everyone who is in the internet field. I think you should only concentrate on Google for getting traffic.

 

Why would you ignore Yahoo or any other traffic? Its the traffic that converts that counts, not just the sheer numbers.

A lot of people here refer to the numbers of visitors. Whats the point in receiving 1,000 visitors a day if they don't convert into $$$? 1 converting visitor is better than 100 non converting.

We are still getting three times higher conversion rates from Yahoo than from Google.

 

I had many websites and even my clients for whom i have worked never engaged themselves in promoting their website on Yahoo. Its good that you are getting higher conversions from Yahoo but to what i have experienced , i am getting huge conversions from Google and the traffic only from Google.

Anyhow its real good that you are going good with G.

where my sites rank very well in google, i have junk rankings for the same kw/websites in yahoo/bing
so i suppose i cant say which converts better since i get almost no traffic from anything but google

 

Nothing can beat google. Google is simply the best

 

Yahoo I get around 200 a day but in google I get around only 50 a day..

I will go for yahoo search engine traffic

I have no idea but for my site, google brings the most traffic for my site. Never try Yahoo before...

I don't get much visitors from yahoo,
Only 4-5% of total search engine visitors but they stay in my site longer.

 

One of my sites gets more traffic from Yahoo and Bing compared to the traffic I get from Google. So it makes more money with Yahoo and Bing traffic. However, I never tested whether traffic from one search engine might convert better than another. But it's something to think about.

 

so what's the point of this conversation anyway ? sorry i am a newbie on traffic getter. does it mean : I should post my website to yahoo search engine and focus on that, instead of google search engine ?
