Withdrawal to India banks from Paypal through XOOM is Working. Confirmed and Tested.

Irrespective of our time of initiation of withdrawals, Xoom seems to bunch them all together and carry them out in batches. I have observed that various transactions get promoted to 'Deposit in progress' around the same time for all!

There is another interesting observation by a member of the bank account type. Are the cancellations happening for withdrawals to only current bank accounts or any of them were denied in spite of having a savings account?
My own two withdrawals were to a savings account and they were completed within 24 hours!

How do they verify,by calling or by sending an email?

 

I am thinking of using xoom but wanted to know if currently i can do the verification of Paypal account through a Debit Card.Is it working? I was going to open a new thread but rather keep DP clean with no so much big question.So can anyone please tell if Debit Card verification is Working fine since i don't want to use VCC.

And also can i get the Indian Xoom Customer Care Number

 

for me?? there was no calls as well as emails.. but mostly they make calls if you transfer >400$..

As i am an Indian and want to do intra Indian tranfer to my bank a/c,will they allow?

And how did you know that they will call if i make more than 400$ transfer?
I want to do a 450$ transfer of know,so what i do?

 

Not necessarily dude.. even after successful verification, i am waiting for more than 100 hours to get the money at bank.. and also xoom has categorically informed that it might take upto 5 working days...

 

now you in what process? deposit in process ? or any other

 

Even if it takes 5 days it is way better than waiting for months before Paypal Resolves the issue isn't it.

Can anybody please answer this if they Do call us for verification what do they really ask.

Thats True..

If they take pain to call you up, they would generally ask for documents like address proof (utility bill), photo proof (govt issued cards) and payment history at PayPal

Actually i made a 800$ transaction.
They asked me vefication questions
They also asked me to send all proofs like Passport,Driving licence,Phone bill consisting of my address and name.

It started showing "Deposit in progress - Final Update" by 9:00 PM in night, now when i checked my bank account in morning, it is showing a Check under clearance for the amount, so should we say "Deposit in Progress - Final Update" means a Check has been deposited in your account now . . !

When it changed to "Final Update " ? if it is just today morning, than you should wait until tomorrow to see a Check in clearing i guess !!
