If those keywords you are mentioning are really good and if you think they are going to give you a good advantage you should buy it with us or other extensions but your site will probably lose value while you are selling it, especially with a WS domain.

Otherwise .com domains are better as they are more popular, easier to remember.

 

I use Adsense as main revenues source for the arcade then secondary ones are CPMStar, Zedo and OzonMedia.
I applied for Valueclick media but they didn't approved. However Adsense is working best for me.

In the past I've run around 10 arcades simultaneously. With good results. However too many arcades and you can really lose track of what's going on.

I do agree with this absoltely.
More than this, (lets face it at last) there is mostly those clones with same sh*t old crap games, which are for sale here on DP, and which nearly no one plays. Works just for game count on site. Ive tried to play them - some games even hard to understand what author was thinking when created it
Have this bulk sh*t on my own arcade site. Going to delete most of them soon as i noticed no one plays it, only harder or visitors to find game worth of playing in this mountain of trash.

Further to this I've found that if you're looking to manage only afew arcade sites you might as well simply own niche arcade sites, like all girl games, or all soccer games or racing games. General arcades are really a thing of the past for the new or low budget webmaster.

This is debatable, still some very large arcade sites that don't have a specific niche but make allot and have huge traffic.

 

There is something called established player.

 

My arcade doesn't have a specific niche and wouldn't say it's an "established player" yet monthly hits are in the millions..

 

It means you work hard on promotion (or SEO). General arcade sites are hard to compete against because there is so much of them already with incoming links. I didn't said it was impossible to outrank them though.

 

I am just getting started in this niche. I created teh arcade site to help promote my gamign blog. I have AV Arcade Pro. I only see a few generic templates out there. Does anyone knof of someone who does nice template custom design for a fair price? Also where can you get custom games. I use to be a programmer,. so I have been thinkign of gettign back into programmign to just get a couple of unique games! LOL
