I will do that but before that I need to know why they did this favour to only few people? are these people the ones that get them huge amount of money every time? or it was just a randomly picked account for the offer? I would definitely raise this thing, we can't take it anymore every customer should be given same level of treatment! isn't it fare to ask??

I could understand what you are going through as I am also sailing in the same boat! I would wait for 1-2 days, if things do not get normal, i am going to withdraw the money cheque mode!

    Sorry to hear that, Don.

I suspected there was a serious reason for all these people to generate thousands of posts in a single thread in a matter of days.
I've also heard it was just a temporary issue at Paypal.

Anyway it's an impressing thing to watch happening here.

yeah impressive for you but utterly frustrating for us. Money stuck (worse was payments getting reversed to buyers - some sellers lost a lot of money) and no clarity as per the withdrawal methods in sight. :( It sure was a bad time but hope it gets better especially with PayPal coming out with some responses/public notices and our fellow DP'ers who have been the best virtual support I have ever had. Many of us would have lost more than few nights' sleeps if DP was not there ....

Of course it wasn't a funny way of saying "impressive".
Paypal should and I'm sure it will take a professional attitude towards resolving this problem which seems to be a huge one.

yeah Clive I get what you are saying and it's heartening to see so many fellow-countrymen/women here who are ready to help you with anything and everything. This place really rocks - I stumbled upon it when I was researching PayPal and never really left, but my love for this forum skyrocketed with this crisis. :)

    Hello,

I have initiated a test transaction on my credit & debit cards.

Initiated on Citi-Bank CC of $50 received Rs.2,318.88 withdrawal request done on 10-2-2010 received in Bank a/c on 15-2-2010 midnight IST. Here USD rate is 1USD=46.377 INR Visa Credit card

Initiated on Standard Chartered Bank Debit Card of $51 received Rs. 2,282.48 withdrawal request done on 11-2-2010 received in Bank a/c on 16-2-2010 in afternoon. Here USD rate is 1USD=44.75. Visa Debit Card.

One thing I would like to add. Both the cards are of Indian bank.

I need to ask a query why there is so much difference in exchange by these both international banks ?

    Some insight is highly appreciable.

    Regards
    Rechargeguru

    Hello,

Simple there is link to withdraw funds to your card. Click. Add your "VISA" enabled CC or DC. Click next put the amount. And wait for 5~7 days.

For CC i received funds In my Credit card. I have outstanding in my Citi CC so adjusted with that.

For DC I received funds in my bank A/c.

    TRY it. :D
