I am not getting much traffic. Is my TECH blog lacking something?

Approach the owner of a blog or website (which is ranking very high for and ask him directly can you put some banners up on his website. Obviouly you shouldn't be in direct competition with his business interests and if he already has banners up on his website chances are he is more likely to accept your offer. Offer him $200 for the week or something. I am sure he won't turn down upfront cash.

Woah thats a huge amount! I can instead spend my money on other stuffs instead of that. Moreover i am aiming to get some organic traffic

bookmark-able ... nice blog .. try to do research on keywords and optimize your site for these keywords.... Cover Windows 7 issues in detail ...

 

It's a pretty cool looking blog, but perhaps try to think of a good hook...by which I mean something useful that is other sites are not doing. Or perhaps something that looks good in a tagline or quick pitch. You could go after the modder crowd, for example. Or perhaps do a feature every day on something many of us use, like a great iphone game or productivity tip.

You're sure to get traffic in a little more time buddy, your blog's really awesome ! Do some forum postings on Tech forums, build your twitter following and you'll get good results

I suggest that you submit your blog posts to social bookmarking sites and cross promote it with your social media networks. You can also write as a guest in other blogs in your niche or link to their posts (with their permission).

It would also help a lot if you optimize your keywords, so you'll be able to show up in search results. SEO is all you need to rank. Just read some useful SEO blogs and you're sure to learn a lot about rankings and a lot more. I recommend you read seomoz.org

You should focus on search engines and hope u have some knowledge about SEO and how to used keywords to optimize blog or website. Just do it with your blog may be better ranking can boost up your traffic

Unfortunately a "tech" blog like this has no focus, no niche and will not succeed.

 

I agree your blog looks great.

Do you know which posts are getting the most traffic? Maybe you can figure out why and duplicate those strategies in your other posts. For instance, in your right column I see one post that Google will pay for info on bugs in Chrome. It talks about free money, and lots of people will click to read that. Whereas, customizing the power button might not interest many.

Your blog is still very young, so it's probably way to early to come to any conclusions. The thing is, you are getting traffic. If it's increasing, then you are doing something right. Just do more of it.
